Dugo se verovalo da teža tela padaju brže od lakših, ali Galileo Galilej je pokazao da tela različitih masa padaju istom brzinom u gravitacionom polju. Mnogima je verovatno poznata legenda o krivom tornju u pizi i Galileju koji tamo vrši eksperimente, ali i sada više od 400 godina kasnije, mnogi još uvek ne veruju u ovo.

Pre par dana na sajtu BadAstronomy pojavio se jedan zanimljiv video koji pokazuje koliko asteroida je otkriveno u poslednjih 30 godina. Podaci za kreiranje ove animacije uzeti su iz The Asteroid Orbital Elements Database i prikaz bi trebao da bude realan.
